Speaking from the Heart is an album about learning to fully accept who you are, without a desire to change. It is the musical expression of the last few years of my life: surviving depression, experiencing the joys of love, losing yourself to someone else, and ultimately finding the courage to live authentically and truly as who you are.
By going through a lot of hardships, I have realized how many great and truly beautiful people I have in my life and have become immensely grateful for that. I want to thank them by making this album, which has come into being as a result of their love and support. It would never have been possible without them.
The album features Min Won on drums, Jasper Somsen on double bass and Lukas Mohl on Piano.
